To prepare for the cleaning, Maui Soft Wash takes every precaution to respect your home and property. Here' s what you can expect when we arrive:

• We ask that you remove your window screens to get the maximum benefit.
• Our cleaning solutions can help break down dirt and grime on the windowsill between the window and the screen.
• It will also help clean the screen tracks from all the dirt and grime that's accumulated since the last cleaning.
• We would also need the driveway clear or at least have the cars pulled as far away from the house so that no solutions get on the cars.
• We will require curbside parking for our cleaning trucks but driveway parking if your home is set back from the road.

Luckily in this business when mother nature decides to rain, it does not prevent us from cleaning your property.

• Since most of what we are using is water, we just adjust our mixes and carry on as normal!
• If there are significantly high winds, we may consider rescheduling the cleaning out of an abundance of caution for our crew and equipment.

Maui Soft Wash offers a 1-year guarantee against any organics returning to the areas that have been treated.

• We remove 100% of the organics from your home.
• In algae prone areas, we have heard of properties taking more than several years for the algae to return.
• If an area of your home is susceptible to algae growth, we recommend staying on top of it, being proactive and cleaning it annually.

Maui Soft Wash chemicals are non-harmful to the environment. In fact, we go a step further and dilute our pre-wash and post-rinse chemicals to less than .05% strength, rendering them completely harmless to the environment but still highly effective. We take great pride in being a responsible and active earth friendly company.

The amount of time will be different based on the scope of work.

• A house wash for example will take between 1-2 hours; a roof wash will be an additional 1-2 hours. Adding patios, driveways, decks and/or fences will also add to the time.
• You can rest assured that all Maui Soft Wash company vehicles, whether it's our trailer or a flatbed truck, are equipped with only top of the line commercial equipment to ensure we can operate as efficiently as possible.
• Please note that there are companies that use the same type of equipment that we do but they charge more for it.
• We actually use this equipment to charge less!
• The reason? The more efficient we can work the more economical our process becomes for our clients.

Maui Soft Wash uses the right cleaning method (soft washing, pressure washing) for the right job. A good rule of thumb is that houses with roofs are soft washed and flatwork (sidewalks, driveways, etc.) are pressure washed.

• Soft washing is a gentle procedure that uses very low pressure (100 pounds per square inch or psi) and very high volume (8-10 gallons per minute (gpm) along with chemicals to remove all the organics, dirt, and grime.
• Pressure washing uses more force (2500-3500 PSI) to remove the dirt or grease from the concrete. Sometimes hot water is needed, and all of our trucks are equipped with hot water machines for those 'hard-to-tackle' areas.

With either process, Maui Soft Wash will take meticulous care of your sensitive plants, trees and shrubs.

• Neutralizers are used in our pre-wash and post-rinse treatments to ensure no harm will come to your landscaping.
• Every member of the Maui Soft Wash team has completed plant and property protection courses to ensure that no harm will come to your property.
